Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) is a business unit of Citi’s Institutional Clients Group. We are the leading provider of integrated cash management and trade solutions for multinational corporations, financial institutions, and the public sector around the world. TTS is one of the most networked businesses in Citi, with our clients increasingly leaning towards centralizing their buying decisions.
Within TTS, the Digital Channels team is responsible for delivering online banking capabilities to our users via our CitiDirect BE desktop and mobile experiences, as well as via our host to host and API solutions.
The CitiDirect BE Product Management Team is responsible to partner with client facing teams and clients in order to identify client and business needs. Product managers in this team are expected to drive a high quality user experience, to partner with engineering to deliver capabilities, and to ensure great features are launched to our users. The team relies heavily on the support of the TTS network, powered by regional and local market teams to deliver features around the world. Our products aim to make our clients and their employees efficient and empowered to meet their business needs quickly and easily. We deliver on that goal by creating intuitive experiences across our channels. We create connected experiences across Desktop and Mobile to simplify and streamline the functions for our users in innovative ways.
The CitiDirect BE Product Management team is seeking a talented, imaginative, and experienced individual who is passionate about digital and human centered design. Guided by feedback from our users and their needs, modern digital experiences, and business goals, the selected individual will be responsible for defining and achieving the new CitiDirect BE mobile experience.
The CitiDirect BE Mobile Product Development Manager Responsibilities include:
Define and deliver BE mobile channels strategy, with the goal of delivering a best-in-class, great user experience that will enable our users to meet their business needs, more efficiently than ever before. Act as product owner for the CitiDirect BE App, (a modern, simple yet powerful experience co-created with our clients), drive the roadmap to build out functionality on the CitiDirect BE App.
Work directly with clients and with client facing teams to understand User needs, ecosystems, pain points, and opportunities for new, innovative solutions. Clearly define user goals and desired outcomes for any feature delivery. Work very closely with other product managers on the team to ensure experiences are designed to be consistent and complementary across our mobile and desktop offerings.
Develop user stories and own the mobile product backlog. Participate in scrum ceremonies as product owner.
Ensure a human, simple, and transparent UX is delivered consistently through all interactions with our brand. Support the entire user journey, establish and uphold quality standards, and deliver at all levels of scale.
Partner closely with regional market managers and functional partners, including Technology, Testing, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Channel Readiness, Client Operations, Activations, and Implementations to ensure buy-in on strategies and approach, and to deliver on time, high quality product offerings. Work closely with product partners across Channels, Digital Security, Payments, Receivables, Trade, & Liquidities to identify opportunities to launch new mobile experiences.
Conduct market and client analysis, using tools including User Research, online feedback, customer experience monitoring (Tealeaf), competitive intelligence and market leading innovations
Design and manage product communications including external and internal feature announcements, reference materials, press releases, and adoption campaigns, in partnership with marketing & regions.
Define and Measure Key Performance Indicators – including user adoption, transaction value, volume, active users, and downloads. Provide quantitative and qualitative updates to stakeholders regularly.
Ensure that all New Product Approval Compliance (NPAC), Legal, Regulatory, & Compliance processes are followed.
Learn Citi's Treasury and Trade Solutions business by working with product teams across the organization.
Exposure to regional and local business processes; Develop strong working relationships with TTS team members around the world.
Enhance your Digital Product Management skills, including the use of Agile.
Further skills in business & product strategy, and in program execution.
Develop skills in mobile, cutting edge technology.
Exposure to senior leadership in TTS
3+ years relevant digital product management experience, preferably with a background in mobile. Experience either designing or guiding designers to develop excellent UX.
Experience talking with your users is a must. Passion for human centered design.
Experience writing content for users – whether in screen messaging, release news, or marketing communications.
Proven experience developing product strategy, and launching products to market.
Experience with Design Thinking and Lean Product/UX methodologies. Experience with Conversational experiences a plus.
Experience working closely with engineering and design teams, and with making trade-offs based on engineering effort, feature, and UX. Understanding of technical architecture and applications, and the pros and cons of each, especially with regards to Mobile Technology.
Fast learner. Ability to grasp technical, complex detail quickly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to respond quickly and creatively to complex issues.
Team player with ability to evidence leadership and build consensus while working within a matrix organization.
Demonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work
