Main duties and responsibilities
The successful candidates will work within a Trade Capture team which manages specific trade capture and closely related functions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The team helps maintain a high degree of accuracy around trade capture, which is crucial to the firm's risk management and accurate books and records.
o Responsible for timely and accurate booking of Trade Capture, which includes the following products: Equity Structured Notes, Equity OTCs, Equity Swaps, and all other Equity related product sets. o Liaise with both trading and sales for all Initial Trade Capture o Support Institutional equity clients and sales traders in the allocation and settlement of customer trades across global equity markets. o Lifecycle Events and ad-hoc requests o Responsible for exception and query management o Liaise with internal counterparts (i.e. Infrastructure Middle Office, Client Operations, Trade Control, Post-Trade Services, Sales, Trade Support, Legal, Finance, Compliance, New Product Services, Collateral Ops) to understand requests for entries required to ensure accurate capture in our systems o Report to management on requests received and completed o Adhere to a ‘right first time’ policy on all Trade Capture activity o Input real-time exceptions related to regulations into Trade Capture Systems (e.g. Dodd-Frank mandatory clearing) o Upon request, perform specification and testing of improvements for all systems and processes o Uphold the controls and procedures for the team o Proactively seek cross-training opportunities for on all functions performed within the team and across the wider department
Basic Qualifications · Bachelors Degree · 1 years experience in an operational environment · 1 years of MS Office experience * *
Preferred Qualifications · Knowledge of Markets preferred (Equity Derivatives) · Understand the Front to Back lifecycle of a trade and its associated risks to the firm and to clients · Specific product & system knowledge · Strong knowledge and advanced Microsoft Excel skills · Flexible and professional under pressure · Ability to communicate clearly and concisely under pressure · Excellent verbal and written skills · Highly numerate with analytical problem solving ability · Results Driven · Commitment and loyalty to the brand · Self Starter / Ambitious · Willingness to take on responsibility to gain in depth product knowledge · Attention to detail and an extensive understanding of risks and controls
