Credit Suisse Corporate Communications Specialist in New York, New York
Provide internal communications support for the U.S. region (business divisions of Investment Banking and Capital Markets, Global Markets, and Intermediate Holding Company Support Functions) by scripting and editing all regional employee communications using Inxmail. Coordinate internal communications activities with key business partners in the U.S., Latin America and Canada, including HR, IT, Risk, Finance, Legal and Compliance, Operations, Corporate Real Estate, and other support functions to develop and execute internal communications initiatives. Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to improve employee morale in the region. Develop and implement employee engagement programs that promote gender, ethnic and sexual orientation diversity. Develop and implement employee engagement programs that focus on the junior populations, especially in creating opportunities for more direct interactions with senior leaders. Collaborate with the Corporate Citizenship team and external charitable partners to increase awareness of the company’s charitable activities with both employees and the media. Assist the Media Relations team with other activities and in externally promoting special projects (philanthropy, corporate citizenship, and diversity). Work with Corporate Communications teams in London, Zurich, and Asia to ensure continuity of programs and messages.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with global investment bank communications or marketing projects in the areas of print, web, advertising, and/or events. Alternatively, the employer will accept seven (7) years of experience with global investment bank communications or marketing projects in the areas of print, web, advertising, and/or events.
