Municipal Credit Union Member Service Representative in Queens, New York

Primary Job Function:

Build lifetime quality financial relationships with each member by providing competitive products and excellent service.
•Responsible for representing the credit union in a positive and professional manner.
•Provides assistance and guidance to the membership concerning products and services.
•Cross-sell credit union’s products and services.


•Communicate effectively with prospective and existing members in a positive and professional manner.
•Provide product and service information to existing members and prospective members.
•Assist members by providing information and answering questions about the credit union, services and requirements, for eligibility, loan guideline, dividend, withdrawals, insurance and statements.
•Cross-sell credit union’s products and services.
•Distribute information brochures and disclosures.
•Disburse approved loans.
•Open new accounts.
• Process stop payment requests, payroll deduction, ATM pin changes, requests for new products and services and various other requests.
•Become familiar with database of membership information on in house software system.
•Provide assistance and support to other members of the service team.
•Assist with community outreach programs.
•Comply with BSA and SAR requirements.
•Perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the branch.
•Travel and work at other branch locations as required at ad-hoc’s notice.
•20 Hour Work Week
•Saturdays required.
•Overtime as required.
