VP/SVP Product Management, Nielsen Marketing Cloud -NYC


The VP of Product Management will lead the vision, roadmap, and tactical development of the Nielsen Marketing Cloud. The Nielsen Marketing Cloud provides a suite of software tools that transform data into a cross-channel media planning, activation, and analytics applications . The The VP of Product Management will report to the Nielsen SVP of Digital Solutions in the Nielsen Product Leadership organisation. The ideal candidate will have the vision to plot long-term strategy that helps outflank the competition and build lasting market advantage, as key part of Nielsen Watch business strategy.


  • Manage team of product managers acting as Product Owners of the Nielsen Marketing Cloud core applications and infrastructure components

  • Manage team of UX developers designing the Nielsen Marketing Cloud applications

  • Engage with Nielsen teams and businesses to define and create new marketing applications in the Nielsen Marketing cloud that leverage the Nielsen’s unique data assets and measurement capabilities

  • Collaborate, in leadership role, with the Nielsen Marketing Cloud’s commercial and technical leaders to drive and implement the product vision

  • Engage with existing and potential customers to gain understanding of market needs

  • Work with the Marketing Cloud’s data science team’s to create best in-class artificial intelligence (AI) to drive marketing effectiveness

  • Collaborate with the Nielsen Marketing Cloud’s marketing teams on positioning and launch strategies to ensure maximum market up-take

  • Lead internal and external training sessions and demonstrations

  • Engage as a thought leader in client workshops and during sales sessions

  • Coordinate smooth workflow to ensure timely and agile execution across engineering and business stakeholders

  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion


  • BA/BS and preferably an advanced degree

  • 6-10 years experience in a Product Management roles

  • Advantage - experience in ad tech, digital media and software

  • Advantage – experience in specific verticals – media/financial services/retail
