The Senior Graphic Artist collaborates with lawyers and administrative staff to create demonstrative evidence and other graphics and presentations for use during trials and arbitrations, as part of legal documents, and during law firm meetings.

  • Creates demonstrative evidence and other graphics and presentations, with a strong focus on litigation matters
  • Translates legal strategies and complex legal issues into graphical terms for presentation at legal proceedings
  • Conducts design meetings with clients, partners, and associates
  • Tailors graphics and presentations for specific uses, such as trials and arbitrations, legal documents, and client meetings
  • Assists with trial technology-related support when necessary including:
  • Consulting with lawyers and staff regarding technology options for court rooms and temporary offices
  • Implementing technology setup plans for court rooms and temporary offices
  • Presents evidentiary materials in PowerPoint and Trial Director presentations
  • Coordinating with and managing third party vendors and freelance graphic artists
  • Drafts documentation for trial and graphics best practices documentation, online help, and communication to firm personnel

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Juris Doctor and litigation practice experience helpful
  • At least two years of trial graphic artist experience, i.e., creating demonstrative evidence for use in trial and arbitration proceedings
  • Thorough knowledge of trial technology and litigation process, especially trials and arbitrations
  • Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills; able to communicate effectively and professionally with firm personnel and clients on all levels
  • Capable of working as part of a group or independently
  • Strong time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while under strict deadlines
  • Mastery of graphics and presentation software such as MS PowerPoint, Adobe CC and MS Excel, familiarity with trial presentation software such as Trial Director
  • Knowledge of animation and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and software such as Tableau
  • On site during normal working hours and available when necessary before or after normal working hours; a flexible schedule is required
  • Required to monitor and respond to email after hours; including during assigned on-call shifts
  • Travel will often be necessary - ability to engage in off-site travel as required to meet the demands of the job and needs of the firm
