Senior Director or Director, Originations - Healthcare Services

Corporate Finance - Healthcare Patient Care Services Coverage

As a Senior Director or Director of Originations, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, negotiating and closing senior secured debt transactions as well as ancillary banking products and services to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:

-Work with existing customers as well as identify and source new customers to achieve established originations targets for new deal dollar volume and profitability within the sector

-Develop calling plan and maintain and grow deal-sourcing network through consistent calling activity, participation in industry events and speaking opportunities, etc.

-Participate in the underwriting and closing process to ensure that customer needs are met consistent with Capital One Healthcare's Risk management philosophy and principles and oversee the underwriting interaction with customers through deal approval process

-Cross-selling products and services of other Capital OneCommercial Finance groups

-Educate, coach and mentor junior originators in developing key origination competencies

The individual in this role will possess:

-Strong track record in commercial finance in healthcare finance

-Strong background in healthcare services.

-Strong experience with and/or knowledge of deal structuring and credit underwriting

-Strong PC proficiency (MS Office applications)

-Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to clients and senior management as well as the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization

-Strong financial modeling and analysis skills

-Execution oriented and self-motivated

-Ability to handle and prioritize multiple transactions and responsibilities at one time

-Ability to work cross-functionally and within a team environment

*Please note this role will require up to 60% of travel on a regular basis

Basic Requirements:

-Bachelor's Degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

-At least five yearsdirectlyrelatedwork experience, including commercial finance, commercial banking, or real estate financewithin the healthcare arena

-Strong experience/network of relationships within healthcare services sectors

-Track record of working with originations, underwriting and capital markets functions to produce successful closings

-MBA
