You uphold the brand, while weaving compelling, informative content that brings the MetLife brand to life. The content you create directly influences customer acquisition and helps to grow and deepen relationships with MetLife’s clients. This role is integral to delivering a differentiated, best-in-class customer experience and requires a confident, creative, and forward-thinking individual with the ability to collaborate in an agency-like team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a compelling MetLife content with messaging, copy platforms, taglines, etc.

  • Execute global copy strategy for all consumer touch points, including global markets. at , social media, digital and print advertising, internal communications, including email, print ads, print collateral, packaging, signage, etc.

  • Craft stories and build the MetLife brand through campaign level thinking and execution.

  • Manage the quality of copy deliverables and ensure they meet MetLife standards for creative excellence.

  • Collaborate with creative team to turn culturally and brand relevant insights into powerful and beautifully rendered work.

  • Work effectively with cross-disciplinary internal teams.

  • Build strong relationships internally across the organization and act as a go-to person for brand voice needs.

  • Create and implement processes for ongoing copy development and team growth.

  • Foster a healthy “one team” culture that values diversity and inclusion, where ideas can be expressed freely, and collaboration and communication are valued as critical to success

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • 6-8 years of Marketing/Communications experience 

  • Good working knowledge of insurance products and the overall industry 

  • Experience working across digital marketing channels (e.g., social)

  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with local markets around the globe, teaching and evangelizing the power of content strategy and content development to fulfill critical business objectives

  • Strong track record of effective writing and communications skills


  • Experience with a global, branded organization/company is preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent field. MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable
