Job Purpose (Job Summary): A leading Private Equity Firm located in New York City is seeking a polished, well-organized professional possessing a strong work ethic to take on the role of Receptionist/Admin and to provide general administrative support to one of our business units, Invesco Private Capital.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Answering main phone line (multiple lines)
  • Greeting clients, interviewees and current employees
  • Working with administrative assistants to meet the needs of incoming guests
  • Communicating office needs to facilities management
  • Manage large mailing projects
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Keeping lobby area and kitchen neat and presentable
  • Work on projects as needed
  • Coordinate calendars, conference calls and business trips

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Internet research
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Keen attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Formal Education:(minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • HS graduate; some college preferred
  • Prior relevant experience a plus
