Job Description:

CSRA is a leader in management and information technology consulting, system integration etc.

We are seeking an individual to join our Provider Services Team for the NYS eMedNY project in our New York City office.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities include:

  • Functional knowledge of the eMedNY system, eMedNY claim processing/billing requirements and applicable software

  • Provide training of the eMedNY billing requirements and software to NY Medicaid Providers

  • Develop training materials

  • Provide support to providers in face-to-face encounters, phone consultations, group training, seminars and webinars

  • Present at various provider associations meetings

  • Testimony for Medicaid fraud legal proceedings

  • Perform other duties as necessary including help with administrative support of the office.

Represents company to external and/or internal customers, answering product or service-related questions. Provide customer assistance and problem resolution to a wide variety of customers across business areas. Responds to non-routine customer calls, email and web inquires, providing a single point of contact for problems.

BA or equivalent plus 3 years related experience, or MA plus1 year related experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS degree in Health Care Management, Business Administration, or extensive health care background in Health Care billing/claim processing experience.

The following areas of HealthCare knowledge are highly desirable for this positon:

  • HIPAA transactions for claim processing, 837 I, P and D

  • Knowledge of Medical, Institutional and or Dental claims processing

  • Strong communication (oral & written), interpersonal, organization skills

  • Strong work ethics and flexibility. Ability to learn quickly.

  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a group.

  • Experience in provider support - related to claim processing software or clearinghouse experience

Technical knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Skype

  • Thin Client, Mobius, WebEx,

This position is located in our NYC office. Travel required within New York City boroughs. Occasional travel to headquarters in Albany, NY area.
