Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Associate. In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for providing a broad range of support on projects and programs. Responsible for providing moderate data synthesis and analysis and other related activities such as creation of surveys and powerpoint presentations. Responsible for coordinating and supporting complex multidJsciplinary meetings. Provides administrative support as needed. Manages purchase of supplies and vendor relations. Practices anticipatory risk identification and mitigation regarding administrative activities and functions of Sala.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs and participates in other job related duties as required.
  • Clerical Support- provides clerical support for the institute ( photocopies, fax, mails, files) as needed. Orders
    supplies.
  • Moderately Complex Clerical Functions - Performs a variety of clerical functions under under general
    supervision. Files, performs data entry, types, fax, prepares forms,, reviews forms for accuracy and
    completeness, photocopy and assembles materials. Handles petty cash, check requests, and receipts for
    reimbursement.
  • Reception/Public Contact - Handles routine and non-routine calls, issues, and questions. Greet visitors, answer
    inquiries and formulates answers to the inquiry by phone or in person. Takes detailed messages and routes to
    appropriate party, ability to troubleshoot and prioritize problems.
  • Scheduling and Coordinating- maintains multiple Director / Executive Director calendars, schedules appointments
    / inter-disciplinary meetings, assists in preparing for meetings / conferences ( logistics, technical support,
    catering, set-up)
  • Data synthesis and analysis: Performs data entry, tabulations and simple analysis for report / presentation
    development. Reviews work for accuracy and completeness

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a 1. High School Diploma or the equivalent. 2. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal and customer service
skills. 3. Knowledge of general/standard clerical office practices. 4. Ability to use standard office equipment including a
copy machine, multi-line telephone, fax machine, etc.. 5. Basic computer ski]Is using Microsoft applications - Ability to
type, straight data entry and manipulate the Web (internet/intranet) to obtain information. 6. Ability to listen and follow
both oral and written instructions. 7. Ability to multi-task, pay attention to details, follow assignments through
completion.. Required Licenses: Not to be used

Preferred Qualifications:
Planning on further education, advanced Microsoft office Skills, Flexibility and pleasant demeanor. One year of work
experience, preferably in an office or related setting preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
