• Design and develop integration, automation and other solutions. • Solution design and development from client requirements. • Work with customers to gather and interpret requirements into solutions. • Work with multiple database systems and structures including Oracle Database and MS SQL Server. • Work with academic and functional counterparts and conceptualize as well as develop solutions that meet the need of the users and the university. • Work with various enterprise applications and business intelligence systems including Banner, Workday and others. • Design and develop automation and integration packages. • Document process and development. • Collaborate with other team members.
• Ability to learn and understand current and future user requirements as well as prioritize, articulate and present such requirements to the customer and the technology team. Furthermore, the selectee shall have the ability of translating functional requirements into technology requirements and matching those to the existing stack. • Knowledge of database systems (RDBMS) (e.g.: Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, others.) • Knowledge of Banner SIS, Workday ERP, CRM systems and other applications. • Thorough understanding of SQL language. • Knowledge of code control and repository tools (e.g.: Git, SVN.) • Knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON and WSDL’s. • Knowledge and experience of different development methods such a RAD, Agile, SCRUM, waterfall. • Well versed in SDLC. • Knowledge of web development technologies (e.g.: LAMP, .NET, HTML, Java, Groovy on Grails). • Knowledge of Mobile Application Framework(s). • Knowledge of HTML, PHP, Java, Jscript, CSS, XML and .NET. • Applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet key stakeholders needs. • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities prioritize and delegate while delivering results. • Excellent written and verbal skills.
