Product Training Specialist
Location: New York, New York, United States
The Product Training Specialist is responsible for driving subscription utilization, increasing/maintaining top retention rates, and uncovering upsell & new business revenue opportunities within assigned accounts & territories (Large Law firms, Small Law firms, and Corporations/Government/Academia).
The PTS will work to drive product usage within accounts, obtain a deeper understanding of client needs, generate leads, and address issues enterprise-wide. This individual will work in a team environment and in conjunction with the Account Executives and Client Relations Specialist team to meet or exceed use, POS, and sales revenue goals.
•Post-sale and pre-renewal usage activity & adoption training campaigns
•Routine webinars and training sessions for new and developing subscribers
•Ongoing monitoring of usage reports for assigned accounts/territories
•Efforts to uncover new areas of interest for product expansion (e.g., Sections to Enterprise or Enterprise to Platform) and upsell/new sale opportunities within accounts
•Coordinate with Client Relations Specialist team to respond to trouble-shooting requests, operational product questions, et al.
•Responsible for assisting Client Relations Specialist team with ID management & troubleshooting and other general account management needs
•Bachelor’s degree required
•1-3 years successful customer support, post-sale adoption, and training experience, preferably with online products, sophisticated users, and/or related to the legal industry
•Demonstrated ability to probe for information or clues that will allow for effective problem resolution. Ability to investigate for greater and more accurate understanding of customer situation/challenges to better address problems.
•Ability to work cooperatively within a team and across the organization to support group and organizational goals
•Ability to build strong enduring relationships to establish a network of individuals who can provide information, help or access to others
•Demonstrated drive to sell/win, including the ability to overcome obstacles to improve business results and performance levels and increase Law360 footprint in customer organizations
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
