Job Description: The Private Client Supervision Analyst will support the oversight of Neuberger Berman Private Client accounts. The Analyst will work under the guidance of senior team members to create, maintain and monitor reports designed to identify potential risks related to investments and activities in client accounts, to document supervisory activities conducted by the team and to participate in the mitigation of identified risks. Candidates will have the opportunity to expand their scope of responsibility over time based on aptitude and initiative. Responsibilities: - Utilize proprietary firm supervision tools to monitor daily, weekly and monthly exception reports.
Coordinate with Technology and Operations teams on development of oversight/exception reports and data integrity.
Create reports and assist in data analysis necessary to conduct Portfolio Manager book reviews.
Administer additional control and monitoring functions, such as the IPO allocation process, and monitoring of trade allocations to ensure allocation fairness.
Participate in control and supervisory related projects, initiatives and committees. Interact and coordinate with Portfolio Managers, Wealth Advisors, Legal & Compliance, Operations and Technology on a regular basis; maintain a high degree of visibility within the organization.
Participate in the daily and ongoing supervisory review of options accounts and trade errors, as may be required.
Continuously work to broaden the scope and improve the effectiveness of the current supervisory process; implement control procedure enhancements where appropriate. Qualifications: - BS / BA (accounting, business, finance, etc.).
Exposure to or a general understanding of Financial Services or Asset Management industry.
Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Analytical and detail oriented.
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
Self-motivated; ability to thrive in a dynamic environment; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
