MediaMath is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced ad tech professional to join our Product Management team, working on the Media Product team. This team is responsible for the integration and management of media inventory, including our bidding systems.
This individual will work with engineers, internal and external partners and clients alike to build features across different product areas, specifically in the areas relating to our bidder and to inventory integrations.
The successful candidate is knowledgeable of product management processes, detail oriented, tech-savvy and knows the ad tech landscape well from an operational perspective. S/he knows their way around real-time bidding, ad tags, HTTP requests, and the ad tech ecosystem in general. S/he will be building systems that touch on multiple engineering systems to deliver value to our DSP. The position reports directly to the VP Product Management – Creatives and Media.
Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of solutions that relate to the bidder and media.
Drive product development with cross-functional engineering team and designers.
Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
Work cooperatively with specialized stakeholders throughout the organization to determine and build agreement the best course of action for the product.
Work with Training, Business Development, Sales and Marketing teams to effectively launch, package and market new products/features.
Understand MediaMath’s strategic and competitive position in ad tech.

BA/BS in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent job experience.
1-2 years product management experience in software design OR 3-5 years in the ad technology industry, with a high degree of technical understanding.
Broad knowledge of the various aspects of ad tech and real-time bidding.
Ability to understand decompose requirements into how they apply across varied technical stacks.
Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications and APIs.
Highly analytical thinking with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Experience with Agile software development / Scrum methodology.
