As a Software Engineer, Associate:
Candidate will be responsible for developing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting applications to satisfy business requirements.
Candidate must also support and participate in system and integrated testing across sub-systems as the need arises.
Candidate will collaborate with product management, project management, as well as vendors to gather requirements and coordinate changes.
Candidate will work in an Agile environment to prioritize, plan, and implement release.
B.S.or M.S. (Computer Science preferred)
4-6years of Application development
3+years minimum experience in Java programming
Strongunderstanding of J2EE server side technologies: XML, JMS, JAX-WS, CXF
Experiencebuilding REST and SOAP web services using Java
Shouldbe well versed in testing techniques and be able to produce comprehensivetests for all developed code. (including TDD, BDD,JUnit/PowerMockito (or other mocking framework), Cucumber)
Experienceworking with Agile Scrum teams
Strongverbal/written communication skills
Knowledgeof the OFX protocol and OAuth token based authentication
Experiencewith databases either SQL/Stored Procedures on DB2 or Oracle, or NO SQL DBlike Cassandra or MongoDB
Experiencewith scripting and working in a Linux/AIX environment
Strongunderstanding of OOP & SOA principles, design patterns, industry bestpractices
Knowledgeof supporting high priority, mission critical applications
Candidateshould be highly organized, detail-oriented, hands-on, motivatedself-starter who can work independently
