Laundry Service Internal Communications Coordinator in New York, New York

Laundry Service and Cycle seek a thoughtful, collaborative, and industrious communications professional to help manage internal and external communications across the business. Your day-to-day work will include communicating with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include

  • Work closely with Director of Public Relations and Sr. Director of HR on all communications initiatives

  • Assist Director of Public Relations with day-to-day tasks, projects, research, and scheduling

  • Assist in the drafting and revision of employee communications, award entries, media pitches, and agency backgrounders

  • Support the execution of agency meetings and events, including scheduling, planning, and content

  • Archives agency information and awards

  • Maintains subscriptions/memberships to industry publications

  • Monitors news for major events, reporting to leadership as needed

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experiencing managing internal and external communications

  • High level of attention to detail - nothing gets by you

  • Next level written and oral communication

  • Strong research skills

  • Proficient management of deadlines and schedules

  • Text and photo layout experience within programs like Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Highly collaborative, flexible and adaptable

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HTML, CSS, or WordPress is a plus

  • Oh yeah, and nice
