We are seeking a smart, ambitious, digital native to join our team. This role will support executive social communications for SAP’s Office of the CMO, including day-to-day social content planning, production, measurement, and optimization. In this role, you’ll work with seasoned social pros, access enterprise-class tools, and gain exposure to a broad range of marketing functions. It’s an ideal role for a self-starter with mad social media and visual communication skills who aspires to a career in social media or digital marketing.


  • Align closely with global Social Media team on executive presence program and general social media best practices

  • Collaborate with the office of the CMO to understand active events and programs; Build and maintain weekly content calendars in support of executive involvement

  • Execute and engage daily in social channels to build audience and grow influence for key strategic themes

  • Produce written, visual, and video content that adheres to SAP’s brand standards

  • Provide live social coverage at live and online events

  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information; Share regular insights with the broader team


  • 2 years of experience in social media, journalism, communications or marketing industries.

  • Prior experience leading high-profile social programs

  • Professional use of social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, B2B preferred

  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels and departments of an organization.


  • Expert knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube platforms

  • Familiarity with social media analytics and mining platforms for data

  • Proficiency using Photoshop and GIF apps; Video editing skills a plus

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Able to adapt quickly to change

  • Organizational, prioritization, time management skills are must

  • Quickly understand and use new tools

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills


  • Student, currently enrolled in a university degree program: BS in Communications, Marketing, Business or Public Relations
