Position Responsibilities\Requirements:

Opportunity

FIS is seeking a HR Business Partner role to help drive the people agenda & priorities for a critical revenue generating business group which spans the Global Sales Team for Wholesale and Institutional. It is an exciting opportunity for the right individual who has a balanced blend of more senior global HR leadership experience along with a track record of leading change and achieving results. The specific roles and accountabilities this HR leader will assume immediately include:

Business Leader and People Strategist

  • Drive HR & People priorities for the Global Sales Team organization.

  • Develop and lead execution of the strategic people agenda and related programs which will attract/develop/retain talent, shift the culture and grow revenue.

  • Serve as a member of the business leadership teams; lead/manage people initiatives on behalf of the business.

  • Establish effective partnerships across FIS, HR as well as the business.

  • Work in partnership with other HR Partners and COEs across FIS in support of and representing Sales

Executive Coach and Advisor

  • Educate executive & senior leaders on all phases of FIS HR programs and processes; goal setting, performance management, talent acquisition/talent management, workforce planning, policies, benefits, compensation programs/practices, etc.

  • Coach executives and senior leaders to help them strengthen their people leadership skills. Serve as sounding board and confidante to help plan and better handle interactions and business situations.

Talent Broker & Performance Consultant

  • Work with the business leaders to identify, forecast and prioritize talent needs and develop/execute talent plans which enable business strategies, engage employees and achieve organization results.

  • Plan and facilitate talent reviews and succession planning with the senior leadership team. Follow through on action plans and facilitate mobility across the broader FIS.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop & deliver recruitment strategies. Serve as member of the interview team for key hires.

  • Keep abreast of key leadership openings, as well as talent ready to move in order to help broker effective leadership placements that can strengthen business results, build succession and enhance careers.

  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle and employee experience for the Sales talent pipelines.

  • Drive and facilitate effective performance management practices, oversee & facilitate compensation reviews & actions.

  • Work with the Sales leaders to identify and improve processes and practices which can translate to enhanced engagement, retention and revenue.

Risk Manager

  • Consistently & proactively manage the implications of regulatory & compliance requirements on people- related practices.

  • Take the lead in preventing, mitigating and/or resolving significant employee relations situations.

  • Review, analyze and respond to problem workforce trends.

Experience/Skills

  • Experience working in and/or with sales; understand what motivates sales professionals and how to develop sales / commission plans and programs which drive revenue.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.

  • Change agent with experience in leading culture change & supporting cross organization integration.

  • Experience collaborating with Senior Leaders on a variety of human capital issues; including compensation, talent management, employee relations, etc.

  • Strong executive level coach. Able to discretely provide feedback, discuss career options, broker opportunities across the organization, develop & facilitate exit plans, etc.

  • Able to think holistically, effectively challenge the status quo, infuse new ideas and drive innovation.

  • Highly trustworthy with a track record of working with very confidential information, views and perspectives.

  • Able to lead major people initiatives on behalf of the business using sound project management methodology.
