In New York, we are a teamof dynamic public relations professionals with a widespread of clients including Jaguar Land Rover North America, GE, Coca-Cola, Tiffany & Co., and The Economist.

As part of our expansion into the US, we are seeking a non-linear editor specializing in fast-turnaround news packages, online videos, and high-end corporate and creative videos. In this dynamic role the Editor would have responsibility for creating high quality videos (news packages, online videos, high-end corporate films) as well as taking a senior view helping to shape the overall direction of the department.


In the role you would be expected to:

  • Develop creative ideas to enhance edits while making sure deadlines and expectations are managed appropriately

  • Work under tight deadlines in a professional and proactive manner

  • Ensure edit systems are optimized for professional use

  • Support other editors’ projects to create a seamless result for our clients

  • Create high quality videos to frequently tight deadlines

  • Work on-location in high-speed turnaround environment

  • Create pitch videos in various styles and to a brief, in order to enhance new business opportunities

  • Prepare, set-up, and configure software for new projects within edit and graphic design software

  • Develop new workflows and find solutions to ensure TVC is at the forefront of the industry

  • Work independently, taking a brief and edit producing projects

Experience, skills and professional attributes:

To succeed in the role you must have:

  • At least 7 years' video editing experience

  • Extensive experience utilizing Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects

  • Deep understanding and experience with compression/transcoding software, especially Adobe Media Encoder and DaVinci Resolve

  • Experience preparing, setting up, and configuring software for new projects within edit and graphic design software

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team and independently
