American Express Global Corporate Payments (GCP) is the Global leader in the Corporate Payments Solutions space and subsequently continues to be an exciting and fast growing business. To maintain success, accelerating sales and driving profitable charge volume growth are essential for the organization. The Global Data Strategy and Insights (DS&I) team, within GCP, is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives.
The Director position within the Global Data Strategy and Insights (DS&I) organization offers the opportunity to be part of this dynamic organization. The incumbent will play a critical role in developing growth strategies to increase performance and drive execution while working alongside senior leadership in GCP.
The Director ROI, Data Strategy and Insights (DS&I) will provide consultative support to the GCP Global marketing team through strategic analytics to highlight insights and trends as well as risks and opportunities. The individual will be expected to recommend insightful, actionable and sustainable business solutions to drive profitable charge volume growth and strategic initiatives. The individual is also responsible for leading a team of three employees. Key Responsibilities include: * Driving thought leadership on highly strategic business initiatives
Develop a POA solution to link data sources to investment models and generate key model outputs. Focus will be on efficiency, automation, simplicity, consistency, capabilities, ease of use and manipulation.
Collaborate with TM1, AET, Finance and Marketing teams to identify key data feeds and work on a solution on how to source these in an automated and standardized manner across GCS Sales and Marketing organizations.
Take ownership of monthly automated update and analysis of customer behaviors for ROI models built in TM1 (e.g. – average spend, account attrition, AR, ADB, write-off rate etc)
Take ownership of inputs for Sales ROI model for all markets (number of headcount by band, BCV target, SIP and fixed S&B, Marketing channels attribution)
Create and productionalize ongoing and near real time performance tracking for the GCS investment metrics (key drivers & inputs, key outputs including ROI) leveraging the TM1 models
Provide ad-hoc analytical support to Marketing and Finance and drive next-gen analytics on campaign level tracking, digital attribution, performance by customer segments etc.
Function as a single point of contact for data inputs and outputs of investment ROI models
Depending on factors such as business unit requirements, the nature of the position, cost and applicable laws, American Express may provide visa sponsorship for certain positions.

Expert level knowledge in Investment Optimization, Investment assessment methodologies and modeling, including solid understanding of AmEx data sources.

5-7 years of relevant work experience with a Master's Degree or equivalent
