For more information, go to http ://investor.ralphlauren.com .Position Summary : Ralph Lauren Corporation seeks an experience Director of Finance to provide financial process management and analysis for the Global Home Brand and for the Licensing, Wholesale Gift & Tabletop and Wholesale Trade Showroom businesses. This position reports directly to the Vice President, CFO, of the Global Home Brand and will partner with channel, region and functional leads to support their businesses. This individual will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and month end close activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and innovative financial professional with the ability to multi-task with a high degree of analytical proficiency and integrity. Position requires good foundational knowledge and experience in finance/accounting and a firm understanding of Wholesale, Retail and Licensing concepts. Candidates with a proven history of proactively driving preservation of gross profit, optimizing licensing profitability, operating expense efficiencies, and process improvement are preferred. The candidate will supervise one financial analyst. Key Responsibilities : Partner with the Brand CFO and lead the forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes for the full P&L; of the various Brand and Operating Home businesses including sales/margin, licensing revenue and operating expenses as well as inventory Track performance metrics and proactively analyze and assess business opportunities to drive operational and financial performance Collaborate with the functional Leads to develop monthly forecasts; partner with Senior planning, buying, marketing, sales, Design, Merchandising and licensed management leadership Lead all month end close processes including sales/margin and expense variance analyses Review monthly expenses results with functional department and business heads; act as the lead finance business partner for expenses and establish a track record of clear communication and sound follow-up Support decision making and provide guidance for new business initiatives, marketing requests and other investment decisions; partner with Leadership to develop related ROI analyses Identify trends, highlight issues and address problems to drive proactive financial management Establish and maintain strong business partnership across divisional finance teams to promote teamwork and organizational alignment including sharing best practices across divisions. Anticipate needs of business partners and prioritize efforts to deliver results Prepare analyses for business reviews, annual budgets, and long range plans and provide insightful analysis Analyze licensee performance for 10 Home Licensees and identify opportunities to improve profitability Provide support to audit teams in connection with periodic audits of license agreements Serve as the liaison to Corporate Departments and the Home Wholesale, Retail and License Accounting teams Support and prepare ad hoc analyses and special projects for Corporate and Senior leadership​Requirements : Minimum 6 + years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with experience in retail, wholesale and licensing financials, accounting, operating budget preparation and management BS Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or MBA preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communications with Senior Level Management Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects to improve results Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including deadline-sensitive priorities Flexibility in adjusting and reprioritizing in order to meet changing needs in a fast-paced work environment Team player possessing a strong work ethic and drive for results Systems experience with SAP, Microstrategy, Hyperion/Essbase, licensed software management a plus Advanced competency in Excel and other Microsoft applications Ralph Lauren is an equal opportunity employer.
