Job Overview

Director, Commercial Strategy, Nielsen Marketing Cloud – NY

The Director, Commercial Strategy, Nielsen Marketing Cloud reports to the SVP, Commercial Strategy and is responsible for creating, nurturing and expanding relationships with Nielsen Marketing Cloud clients. We are looking for a dynamic business development professional with a strong solutions background and in-depth knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem.

  • The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of creating and growing revenue generating partnerships around high-value technical services.

  • Work closely with the SVP to identify mutually beneficial strategic partnership opportunities.

  • Understand partner/client strategies, communicate how Nielsen Marketing Cloud capabilities can grow their revenues and take strategies to execution creating valuable outcomes.

  • Identify new opportunities to leverage Nielsen Marketing Cloud assets and capabilities to provide new solutions to current and potential clients/partners.

  • Participate in the development of marketing strategies and materials. Evangelize Nielsen data and service capabilities via participation in industry events and conferences.

  • 5 years of experience in an Advisory or Strategic Client Management role within the advertising, agency, data solutions, or marketing services industry.

  • Outgoing confident individual who is comfortable presenting to senior executives.

  • Ability to think analytically and leverage available assets to bring ideas to a successful conclusion

  • Demonstrated record of creating and growing revenue partnerships or creating valuable outcomes with fortune 500 clients using marketing technology.

  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising systems and business models.

  • Knowledge of the exchange/DSP/SSP/Trading Desk ecosystem.

  • Bachelor Degree required.
