Common Ground Data Services Coordinator in New York, New York

Job Description:

This position supports the Data Services department in managing the flow of requests coming from internal and external partners. The Data Services Coordinator supports in building strong systems, communication, and feedback on all data services related projects and reports.


  • Serve as internal liasion for incoming program data and analysis requests
  • Design and maintain process to stadardize requests, manage traffic and prioritize requests
  • Manage HMIS reporting for organization including quality of data, relationships with service partners and HMIS compliance
  • Provide individual and group support and training for programs above
  • Manage SharePoint structure and user interface
  • Produce and provide regular reports as requested
  • Act as representative in external meetings for HMIS and DHS data committees; responsible for reporting back to internal staff
  • Complete DHS and CoC online surveys and evaluations, ensuring consistency with other internal reports and previous external reporting
  • Responsible for organizing Data Services shared drive, calendars and other dept. info
  • Work with Director on user experience of systems
  • With Director, Design ad-hoc reporting as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA or equivalent

  • At least 1 year administrative experience
  • Organized and thorough, comfortable working in ambiguity, working with diverse populations
  • Comfortable working in excel, SPSS, web-based applications
  • Position requires use of a computer, some travel to sites
