Actively work to configure the COTS solution being implemented. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Writes manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures.
Application Developers on the project may participate in a rotating assignment to execute nightly jobs after 5: 30pm Mon-Fri. This role will also participate in that rotation and will be expected to own the nightly job process from beginning to end on those nights assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or higher.
Bachelor's Degree in MIS or higher.
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or higher.
Exposure to specific technology is not required; however, experience in the following areas is desirable:
- MS Visual Basic.NET
- Oracle DBMS or MS SQL Server
