Job Description

The Affiliate Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the affiliate channel, including managing our affiliate agency, our top tier publisher relationships, as well as the overall affiliate budget. The Affiliate Marketing Specialist will implement the overall affiliate strategy to drive sales, increase ROI, and improve overall brand awareness through the promotions created for the affiliate channel. This position is responsible for all aspects of requesting and implementing promotions, including working collaboratively across internal teams (such as with the creative team) to execute these offers. The Affiliate Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing external agencies, developing new business opportunities, creating strategic/tactical proposals, managing budgets and working with cross-functional teams to meet company goals and objectives.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategy for the affiliate channel. Create and manage the affiliate channel marketing budgets, plans and goals to meet revenue and performance targets.

  • Serve as primary liaison with the affiliate agency, communicating effectively to strategically grow the channel.

  • Help conceptualize, launch and promote new creative, custom offers, advertising ideas and campaigns, in conjunction with eileenfisher.com initiatives.

  • Monitor progress toward objectives, designing reports and crafting presentations and articulating results to digital team as well as various stakeholders

  • Pro-actively monitor affiliate performance, trends and projections, establishing metrics and reporting for affiliate campaigns from initial strategy through to execution and evaluation. Leverage data to both identify optimization within the current business and new opportunities for growth.

  • Socialize campaign analysis and hindsights. Synthesize information to clearly communicate key learnings, actionable strategy, and recommend new opportunities to leadership.

  • Partner with the Display Marketing Specialist, Email Marketing Manager and Paid Search Specialist to develop integrated plans and strategy.

  • Work closely with CRM partners to evaluate campaign performance through a customer lens, to analyze survival, LTV, and retention analysis.

  • Socialize channel strategy, priorities, and goals to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective performance management.

  • Stay up to date on affiliate news such as new potential publishers, online opportunities, betas, etc. Continuous competitive research, staying abreast of trends and best practices.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant digital marketing experience, including focused experience in affiliate marketing.

  • Deep familiarity with core components of affiliate, including hands on experience with affiliate platforms as well as publishers.

  • Proficient in Google Analytics and experience manipulating data and performing calculations in Excel to create reports (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, formatting, and dashboards).

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally.

  • Proven strategic thinking, analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong project management and process development capabilities.

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
