Industrial Medium Voltage Drives Account Manager
The Industrial Medium Voltage Drives Account Manager position in the North Region is responsible for sales of Siemens Medium Voltage Drives products and services from the Process Industries and Drives (PD) Divisions of Siemens to the Industrial OEM and End User markets across the region. While close collaboration with the PD Vertical teams is required, the position covers the full range of industrial customers in all industries across the entire region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
D esigns overall operational objectives and work plans for Representative & Channel Sales, develop coordinated sales plans with the Siemens IDS Sales Team and serves as the main conduit for the North Region back into the Medium Voltage Drives Business Unit.
Develops strategy for retention of account base and development of new accounts. Designs and leads sales strategy to penetrate accounts. Plans and manages the overall operation of the unit and/or sales channels to ensure achievement of goals and objectives. Meets or exceeds stated sales goals for the business.
Prepares growth forecasts for sales area and/or sales channels to ensure the highest level of service. Recruits, trains, and directs sales efforts of sales support engineers, account representatives, and administrative personnel.
Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for the area of responsibility and good knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact. Demonstrates full understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management.
Typically 10+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree, where required
