Job Description
Due to growth, we are seeking strong talent to participate in the development and maintenance of complex states as well as regional product performance accountability by performing quantitative analysis and communicating analysis results to company management and stakeholders.
The Senior Product Manager will provide research and analysis and make recommendations used to improve product features, pricing, marketing, sales, service, processes and procedures for assigned region, states and products. They will be accountable for the profitability and growth of assigned region, states, and products. Reports to Product VP and assists in the leadership of region.

- Analyze and manipulate large data extracts. Conduct quantitative analysis for complex states/regions. Perform deep dive data analysis to evaluate product performance in various customer segments and territories. Develop rate strategies and summary documents. Coordinate with Actuarial to research, analyze, support and present rate management plans and recommend overall pricing strategy. Proactively build business cases, execute action plans and monitor the impacts against the expected outcomes.
- Develop expertise on industry and competitive analysis tools. Monitor and analyze results of auto and home insurance products across various states. Lead and collaborate with underwriting on guidelines, compliance and sales / service to help develop strategies for assigned states and claims on product enhancements and settlement practices.
- Develop recommendations for actions to improve performance or enable growth. Communicate analysis results to company management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with various functional areas (underwriting, actuarial, claims) to understand drivers of performance and implement new processes.
- Research market trends and competitor pricing actions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of property and casualty insurance practices, standards and concepts.
- Excellent problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access or other data analysis tools (SAS, SQL).
- Exceptional communication, project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and influence others.
- Entrepreneur mentality.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- Prior experience as a Pricing, Underwriting or Product Manager with a P&C carrier.
