What You Will Be Doing
As a Sales Director, you will own the entire sales process from prospecting / building pipeline, to pitching the value proposition and staging product demonstrations of our platform. You will also negotiate contracts and develop growing relationships through increasing revenue with premium publishers (Comscore 100). The Director of Sales is expected to ensure client satisfaction, identify new inventory up-selling and revenue growth opportunities and provide platform feedback from clients and prospects to Product and Strategy teams. Youll also drive quarterly business reviews with senior executives in collaboration with account management.
What You Need for this Position
Minimum 2 years of publisher sales experience.
Demonstrated prior revenue generation success exceeding goals.
Strong understanding of the competitive publisher ecosystem.
Wide network and growing book of contacts across publishers.
Consultative sales experience and success in building long-term partner relationships.
Superior presentation skills and the ability to make complex ideas easy to understand.
Detail-oriented salesperson who meticulously manages pipeline, targets new accounts, closes business, and manages follow-up via Salesforce.
Willing to travel when necessary and entertain clients on a regular basis.
Prior experience and publisher contacts in the following verticals are a plus: Entertainment, Lifestyle, Health, Parenting, Travel, Music, Sports, and Media.
