Location: Hartford, CT

Shift: 1 st /Day Shift – Occasional off-hours support as needed

Expected Project Duration : 12 months (multi-year opportunity)

As a PeopleSoft Financials Technical Lead, you will develop and PeopleSoft application solutions and implement PeopleSoft core technology products. Dedicated to quality, you will use your problem solving skills to keep our world class systems delivering value to our clients.

Day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical assistance on General Ledger, Payables, Travel and Expenses, and Asset Modules

  • Provide functional and technical support for other financial and supply chain modules of PeopleSoft

  • Create functional and technical specifications, design documents for supporting modules

  • Support developing the 5 PeopleSoft Financials modules

  • Review systems workflow to evaluate effectiveness and propose system changes to improve productivity

  • Resolve production issues in functional area

  • Work with onshore/offshore team - Mentor, lead and delegate assignments; report back to client and Accenture leadership on your teams’ progress

  • Help business with inventory costing issues related to financial closing, budgeting, multi-currency, allocation, etc.

  • Interact with direct supervisor, peers and/or management levels at the client site and/or within Accenture

  • Communicate at various levels within the organization and stakeholders of the project

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a PeopleSoft Technical Lead role or Technical Lead role

  • Minimum 4 years of PeopleSoft 9.x experience

  • Minimum 4 years of PeopleSoft technical support experience

Preferred Skills:

  • College Degree

  • PeopleSoft Financial Module experience in GL, Payables, Travel Expenses, Audit, and Purchasing

  • Supply Chain PeopleSoft Technical experience
