Sweeten Account Manager - Client Services in New York City, New York

We're building the go-to marketplace for home renovation by changing the way homeowners and general contractors find and work with each other.

The Account Manager - Client Services works on the Sweeten sales team to provide personalized outreach and support to homeowners as they select a general contractor for their home renovation from our curated network of construction and design professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience guiding clients through the contractor selection process

  • Track prospects in the sales pipeline and maintain detailed customer records

  • Design and conduct strategic outreach and intervention to support prospects at the right stage of the sales pipeline

  • Conduct research to identify new customers and markets

  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects within assigned territories

  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries

  • Collect and share feedback on individual homeowner experiences to improve our service

  • Close sales and meet monthly goals

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of proven success in B2C sales and a strong history of full life-cycle sales over phone and email

  • Proven record of excellent inside sales performance and relationship management

  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Strong follow-up skills via phone & email

  • Proficiency using computer programs including Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • A relentless drive and a collaborative spirit

  • CRM/database management systems (Salesforce.com) experience is a plus

  • Experience in commercial / residential construction, real estate, architecture or design is a plus

  • College Degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Digital Marketing or similar field
