Position Description:Candidate will be responsible for BIM standards development, implementation and enforcement. Role will manage software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases and customization of the product, provide support for plotting and electronic file submissions, automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity, create written technology evaluations and budgets for future technology adoption that aligns with the corporate goals. Role will also provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced, provide hardware and network support as it related to BIM production, assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards, evaluate new BIM related software and technologies, manage the implementation of supporting software for BIM, maintain high level of competency of software through continued use and training and conduct internal BIM training for all new and current employees. Other duties include: support project standards coordination with customers, link BIM to the project Construction Administration Phase for submittals, construction models, shop drawings and schedules, Liaise with national vendors, corporate technology support staff, and software developer support staff and other support channels, assist on project work – modeling and detailing – and assist project teams in BIM project setup, help resolve BIM design issues and report on the company’s current and projected state in regards to BIM implementation. This position will supervise a staff of two BIM Specialists.

Job Requirements:Ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a similar construction related engineering discipline along with a minimum of seven years of experience in BIM and design, drafting or engineering. Candidate must have an in-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions with emphasis on project sheet setup along with strong practical and knowledge and working experience in BIM tools including Revit and Naviworks. Excellent oral, written and team collaboration skills are required. #LI-MC1
