Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Job Purpose: This position will support the organization in implementing all marketing and communications strategies to increase brand awareness, drive sales and increase customer engagement within the Mazzone Hospitality brand. This position will support the initiative to enhance and enforce a consistent brand message in all Mazzone collateral and deliverables, as well as assisting in the growth of divisions and establishing excellent customer and client relationships.

Job Duties:

Primary responsibilities include:


Design, implement and facilitate marketing plans, manage marketing campaigns and fiscal accountability as well as design, implement and produce all internal print material for all Mazzone Hospitality units. Conduct effective marketing meetings as well as create and maintain websites and website content. Must be proficient with using various graphic applications. This position must have experience working with media relations, local and national, social media and content development skills. This position will include prospecting new business and creating proposals/presentations for new clients. Must be able to demonstrate excellent project management and time management skills working with strict deadlines.

Guest service

  • Engage guests in special events designed to increase sales

  • Develop programs to drive engagement in events and specials

  • Increase guest retention and frequency

  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas.

  • Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.

  • Maintain and grow positive relationships with all clients.

Operational responsibilities

  • Work under the Mazzone Hospitality Director of Marketing and executive leadership teams to ensure messaging is consistent with overall marketing and communication objectives for company branding.

  • Enhance and enforce a specific brand message for division.

  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies including monthly promotions, large scale events and PR efforts.

  • Develop and execute channel-specific social media and email marketing plans.

  • Develop and execute campaigns to increase sales and engagement

  • Attend Dine Around events as a representation of the Mazzone brand

  • Coordinate events with Catering and B&I managers including set-up and coordination.

  • Coordinate sponsorships and related coordination

  • Assist with Mazzone Hospitality Cooking School and its growing brand

  • Work with web development team to create and launch websites and manage all subsequent updates.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper messaging of company beliefs and service offerings.

  • Coordinate GRIN in the collection and design of monthly materials for employee newsletters. Willing to step in and assist divisions in roles outside of marketing that help our company exceed corporate standards.


  • College degree is preferred. Bachelor of Science degree in marketing/management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.

  • Knowledge of computer software’s (MS Word, Excel, Google Drive etc).

  • Knowledge of design program (Adobe Design Suite, Publisher etc).

  • Proficient in dimensions of company policies and procedures, personnel management, record keeping, and preparation of reports

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to delegate tasks such as event management, promotional design, budget planning and coordinate team

  • Excel in time management

  • Ability to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend solutions

  • Flexible schedule, ability to work days and/or nights, weekends and some holidays

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must agree to pre-employment background and drug screening
