The focus of this role is working within our Cyber Security and Risk Management practice. The individual will be responsible for the implementation and validation of technical and process controls at our new Digital Accelelator and then maturing those capibiltes globally. This will involve working with many technologies across our stack as well interfacing, influencing and leading multiple stakeholders.
Some Tasks include:
Evaluate and recommend new capibiltes and technologies that protect UTC and minimally impact user experience
Enchance our risk framework to allow for cloud adoption
Manage security product rollouts to UTC and Business Unit’s
Responding to virus, malware, spam outbreaks as needed
Working with project teams to ensure secure implementations
Support IT Architecture team reviews of new technologies
Define key metrics to demonstrate program success
Experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows and Active Directory, UNIX / Linux a plus
Working knowledge of security controls across a wide variety of platforms, including cloud-related controls.
Ability to identify, prioritize, and design controls to mitigate security risks.
Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed
Initiative and ability to quickly acquire knowledge
Understanding of basic project management principles
