RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Provides support and guidance with the day to day operations of the Clinical Support Social Work (CSSW) department. Provides clinical consultation, coaching, precepting and staff development activities for the CCSW staff. Serves as department lead for special projects and initiatives. Provides telephonic social work (SW) consultation to the Care Coordination team and telephonic SW services directly to members. This includes assessing clinical needs, determining appropriate actions and facilitating clinical care or resources between clinical staff and the member. Works under general supervision.
Licensure: Current license to practice as a Licensed Social Worker in New York State required.
Education: Master&rsquot;s degree in Social Work required.
Experience: Minimum of five years social work experience in a managed care, home care or community based health care organization required. Previous experience with staff development, clinical consultation, and program administration activities preferred. Effective oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of Medicaid and/or commercial regulations preferred. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and data systems required. Bilingual skills may be required, as determined by operational needs.
